Abstract
In his works, MullaSadr has spoken about the relationship between philosophy and religion . In this regard, he has mentioned religion with various definitions; . He considers the Quran to be uncorrupted and believes that the belief in the distortion of the Quran is contradictory to the belief in the authenticity of the Quran, but he has not judged the hadiths and the relationship of the hadiths collected in hadith texts with what was transmitted from the Prophet and his family. After a precise and documented explanation of Sadr al-Muta’al-Hain’s view on the relationship between philosophy and religion, this study criticizes that view in two stages based on the duality of tradition and indicates the tradition - or the transmitted tradition and the received tradition - in two stages: In the first stage, it shows that not only transcendental wisdom, but also no philosophy has a general opposition to the "religion of origin", just as every philosophy, including transcendental wisdom, has a partial opposition to the "religion of origin"; and in the second stage, it shows that the claim of opposition or non-opposition of any philosophy to the "religion of origin" is an unprovable and irrefutable claim that ultimately is not even effective in arguing with religious people.
