Abstract
In this article, we have analyzed some of the important issues related to causality in Mullā Ṣadrā’s three philosophical journeys with the argumentative and analytical method to determine what evolutions had occurred and to find out the relationship of these evolutions with mentioned journeys. In the first journey, according to the theologians' point of view, the relationship of Hặaq Tảặla with creatures is in the form of “effective and affected” relationship. According to this journey, not only is there a possibility of separation between cause and effect, but also diversity in essence and refuse of any kind of causality can be stated. In the second journey, according to the originality of the existence of gradational oneness, the relationship of Hặaq Tảặla with the creatures is in the form of “cause and effect” and the discussion of “stages” can be stated. Finally, the mentioned relationship corresponds to the third journey is in the form of “exterior and epiphantic form”. According to this journey, the effect is a manifestation of cause. The first two journeys emphasize the constant coexistence of cause and effect and exterior and epiphantic form by maintaining the difference between the two journeys. In the same way, according to the requirements of the first journey, “giving, granting, and Giver" are contradictory; according to the requirements of the second journey, these three are united and according to the third journey, they are the one.
